Charles Hickey

DISTRICT 7 TRUSTEE

Charles Hickey was elected to the NFEC board in 1983. He serves as the board’s vice president. After Charles graduated from high school in 1965, he attended Panhandle State University where he received his bachelor’s degree. Now a resident of Reydon, Charles works as a cattle broker in the area. Along with his Northfork Electric board duties, Charles serves as Northfork’s representative on the Western Farmers Electric Cooperative board of trustees. He is also the chairman of the Bidding and Procurement Committee of the same organization. Charles is a member of the NRA and serves as a deacon at Trinity Fellowship in Sayre. When he is not fulfilling his board duties, Charles will often be found spending time with his beautiful wife, Debbie, and their family. The couple has four sons, Brandon, Justin, Carson, and Travis, and one daughter, Shona. A houseful of grandchildren completes the Hickey family. Members who get the chance to meet Charles personally will be encouraged by his strong faith and optimism. “Electricity is such an important asset to western Oklahoma. We are so blessed to have these services. The next best thing to having Christ in your heart is to have electricity in your homes,” he says.
