Chris Mackey

DISTRICT 6 TRUSTEE

A well-known board member in the community, Chris Mackey was elected to serve Northfork Electric Cooperative in 1988. Chris is a graduate of Sayre High School and a lifelong resident of the community where he has a cattle operation and does independent consulting. A devoted member of the board, Chris also has memberships in the National Rifle Association, SCI, NEBA and the Great Plains RC&D Association. Chris enjoys spending time with six grandchildren and making time for the outdoors. He looks forward to most every hunting season and loves to spend the day fishing local ponds and lakes. With all his Northfork Electric Cooperative board member duties and other responsibilities, Chris still manages to find the time to help others when asked. Along with his wife, Peggy, the couple has six children: Clay, Artie Lee, Austun, Travis, Trent, and Todd.  As Mr. Mackey carries out his duties as a trustee, he keeps members top of mind.  “Our greatest responsibility as trustees is to make the best decisions for our members while keeping service as reliable as possible at the most affordable rates.”
