Northfork Electric Cooperative suspends disconnection for nonpayment
As a local cooperative and provider of electric services, Northfork Electric Cooperative will temporarily suspend disconnects for members who are directly affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. Members will be responsible for notifying our office of their need and are still responsible for the full payment of their electric bill. We will re-evaluate this temporary suspension on a weekly basis.
Expressing Cooperative Principle #7, Concern for Community, we are committed to doing what we can to help our members and the communities we serve navigate this rapidly changing time of uncertainty.
